Job Description:

Our client, a prominent Education Tech company in Ohio, is looking for an AP Accountant. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate must be immediately available to start a new role. Client DetailsOne of the leading providers in educational technology courses based in Ohio. This role offers remote flexibility and potential for FTE within 6 months. Description

• Oversee the creation and distribution of intercompany invoices
• Facilitate resolution of disputed charges between regions
• Oversee reconciliations and preparation of journal entries related to intercompany transactions
• Maintain daily currency rate interfaces
• Payment Processing
• Run previews of the payment runs and scrub data in advance of payment runs
• Resolve payment term discrepancies, where found, prior to each payment run
• Interface with Treasury for approval of payments and act as control check prior to payments being processed
• Close AP at the end of each month (which will require working until approximately 7 p.m. the last business day of the month)
• Data Cleanup
• Assist with business partner data validation and cleanup, as needed for ERP migrationProfile
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, Banking, Intercompany and/or related field preferred
  • Ability to flex hours to accommodate international correspondence, as needed
  • Previous experience with general ledger and/or ERP software a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Well-organized and capable of handling multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
