Our client, a global leader in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, has an immediate need for qualified Mechanical Engineer, to join our growing team in Springfield.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for managing production projects to ensure they meet financial objectives and are executed effectively. This role involves developing and implementing the industrial processes necessary for production, and you will acts as a project manager within the context of external growth. You will collaborate closely with both production and design teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and profitability of the production process.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage programs using PMP and APQP project management methodologies for tracking and control.
Analyze technical specifications associated with the program.
Control and monitor project budgets.
Determine criteria and evaluation characteristics for the process.
Analyze risks and ensure proper communication and dissemination.
Industrialize or reindustrialize projects and identify opportunities to improve production processes.
Draw up technical specifications for industrial processes.
Define and implement equipment, tooling, and production procedures.
Identify resource requirements and train operators and technicians.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering or related field
Proven experience in product launches and implementation of manufacturing processes.
Proven ability to lead Engineering teams.
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methodologies, Lean Manufacturing.
Reading drawings from different OEMs and GD&T.
