LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Muncie, Indiana.Job Description & Requirements

• Employment Type: Travel"Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN's to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  **Periop/OR RN's, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  
  IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour
  
  IN LICENSE MUST BE IN HAND TO SUBMIT
  
  First Time Travelers Accepted
  
  Shift Requirements: 3x12s
  No call required
  Weekend coverage - Every other weekend
  13-week contract available
  
  Certification Requirements:
  ACLS, BLS
  OCN preferred
  
  Skillset Requirements:
  PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, accessing prots, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs
  
  Floating Required
  
  Minimum Experience Required: 1.5 Years
  
  Staffing Ratios: 1:4/5

  **THIS IS AN ACUITY ADAPTABLE UNIT**
  This 25 bed unit is committed to delivering the best, high quality, compassionate care to all patients. On OPC, we utilize a team approach consisting of nurses, physicians, patient care assistants, case managers, and unit support staff. Our care team specializes in the care of stable progressive care patients, patients with a diagnosis or history of cancer, end of life care, including Inpatient Hospice, and medical level of care. As part of the Oncology Progressive Care team, you will become chemotherapy trained and will have the opportunity to become an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN)."
