Job Description:

Platform Staffing Group (an STA Group Company) is currently looking for a mid-level full stack software engineer to work on a cross-disciplinary team developing embedded and standalone AI chat assistants leveraging the latest Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG). Team responsibilities include frontend development, backend services and APIs, infrastructure management, data pipelines and prompt engineering.

Remote - candidates can be considered as remote if in the US and living more than 50 miles from above indicated locations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and maintain elegant, responsive applications in a TypeScript-driven React framework

Build and maintain reliable, scalable Python pipelines and microservices

Author well-structured, extensible code along with unit and integration tests

Collaborate across teams and disciplines

Triage, diagnose and address issues in collaboration with other engineers

Participate in code reviews, delivering and receiving constructive feedback

Provide additional support as needed in diverse areas such as technical documentation, task break down, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, database development and system architecture

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualifications:

2-3 years web development in JavaScript or TypeScript

1-2 years React development

1-2-year Python experience or a willingness and proven ability to learn new programming languages quickly

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

Comfortable in a *nx environment using command line tools

Experience with Git or similar version control systems

Desired Qualifications

Experience with a Cloud Platform such as AWS, Azure or GCP (AWS preferred)

Familiarity with infrastructure as code, automation, monitoring, and a DevOps mindset

Understanding of agricultural concepts

Experience using LLMs or similar Generative AI tools

Experience with the Langchain framework
