Job Description:
A company is looking for an Intellectual Property Counsel
(Secondment).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor the company's trademark and patent portfolio,
including clearance reviews and maintenance actions
Provide advice on trademarks, patents, copyrights, and branding
strategies to management
Review and negotiate various agreements, including licensing and
non-disclosure agreements
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor degree and admission to a State Bar in at least one
U.S. State
5 years of experience in trademark, copyright, and patent law,
either in-house or at a law firm
In-depth knowledge of U.S. and foreign trademark and patent
counseling, clearance, and prosecution
Experience in preparing and filing trademark and patent
applications with the USPTO
Familiarity with copyright law and experience negotiating
IP-related agreements
