roleUtility Operator/Dock is an entry level position, which is a
great opportunity for individuals looking to work in the power
industry. Working under the direction of the Supplemental Waste
Program Manager, the individual will be responsible for fork truck
operation unloading trucks at the Energy from Waste facility's
docks. Utility Operators must maintain their work area in a clean,
orderly and safe manner and comply with all safety and operational
policies and procedures. Reworld is a smoke free worksite.Position
Responsibilities--- Unloading trucks--- Perform safety
inspections--- Review and sign shipping documents--- Assist in
regular cleaning projects--- Cross train in other areas of
department--- Other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications---
Maintain a valid driver's license--- Must be able to work overtime
as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays with minimum
notice. May be required to work extensive overtime hours during
planned and un-planned maintenance.Preferred Qualifications--- High
School Diploma or equivalent, preferred--- Prior experience in an
industrial environment utilizing mobile equipment, namely fork
trucks, preferredPhysical Demands of the Role--- Ability to walk,
stand, sit, and climb--- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs--- Ability to
work from heights and in confined spaces--- Qualify to wear a
full-face respirator --- Consistently work in various weather
