Job Description:
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor to provide
telephonic support to individuals in emotional distress.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with individuals over the phone, providing support during
emotional distress or mental health challenges
Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation
and providing resources as needed
Maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace to ensure
confidentiality and focus
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or
university
Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social
Services
Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a
related behavioral healthcare field
Experience in crisis support or similar roles is highly valued
Must have a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace with a stable
internet connection
