Job Description:
A company is looking for an Organ Placement Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Screen organ offers and respond to incoming organ offers from Organ
Procurement Organizations
Conduct wellness checks with wait-listed transplant patients and
triage patient calls
Coordinate communication between transplant centers, OPOs, and
medical staff regarding organ offers
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or G.E.D
3 years of medical background or training (e.g., EMT, Paramedics,
LPN, RN)
2+ years in the field of organ donation preferred
CTP, CCTC, and/or CPTC certifications preferred
Completion of coursework related to Human Anatomy and Physiology
preferred
